Teriyaki Sauce

Katie

3/4 c water
1/2 c soy sauce
3/4-1 c brown sugar
1/4 teas garlic powder
1/8 teas ginger

Mix and divide in half.  Use half to marinade chicken.  Add 1/2 teas cornstarch to the other half and cook to thicken.  Pour over top of chicken and rice.
