Pepperoncini Roast

1 Large Bonless Chuck Roast
1/2 stick of butter
1 small jar mild or medium pepperoncini (with juice)
1 pkg Au Jus mix
1 pkg Ranch Seasoning mix
(mushrooms optional)

Put all in crockpot on high for 10-12 hours.  I like it cooked for a long time.  The juices thicken up and the roast gets more and more tender.
